In this session, you will learn how we use pre-assessments and the flipped instructional model in Google Classroom to facilitate year-long grammar instruction without sacrificing a significant of class time or giving up essential curriculum content. Our major goals are: 1) not requiring students to sit through lessons on subjects they have already mastered; 2) providing appropriate support as students learn and review concepts at their own pace. We will also share how we incorporate student reflection to shape our instruction.
